We are still Humans, at least when this article is being written. We face our unique Ups and Downs almost on a regular basis. Sometimes we survive, sometimes we Thrive but sometimes it seems like everything is Falling Apart. This Post is dedicated to those times.
Sometimes you need to try GGwE, it’s the term I coined while writing this article, Give something Graciously without Expectations. Before I go on Blabbing’ about this let's get into some science behind it.
As per healthlinemedia.com, one of the leading medical health websites in the world, the amygdala(part of brain) is responsible for controlling emotions in our mind. Our body reacts according to the chemical combination thus secreted. I’m not going into detail about what and how the chemicals are released. Point is, most of the time we feel weak or strong, dull or energetic, negative or positive, etc only because of these chemicals. If we can understand what triggers these things, we can gain control of most of how we feel. But again to understand these things we need to deep dive into science.
As a guy from an accounts background, I seldom understand these chemicals. But I do understand one thing whenever I give something, may it be by time or money for a good cause, I FEEL GOOOOD!
Yes, when everything is falling apart, the first we need is to Feel Good. Feeling Good is the most subjective topic, some may argue that by TALKING to a friend or by going to the GYM, they feel good. That’s Great and by all means, continue doing those things. Doing Charity as a Complimentary thing to others or entirely Substituting it is a personal choice.
But one thing I have seen and experienced is that the bigger the Fall Down the lower the ground level we need to go. Most of the time our situations take us away from reality, so sometimes we need to go just out & give that 1$ coffee to some stranger who we think needs it. It can be a SalesMan from some company, it can be a Construction worker or it can be a Roadside Beggar, the choice is yours.
Do what makes you Feel Good. Cheers to a Happy & Healthy Living.
